Simran Kaur Mundi is the reigning Miss India 2008. She was crowned Pantaloons Femina Miss India Universe 2008 in Mumbai on 5th April 2008. She will now represent India in Miss Universe 2008 will be held in Diamond Bay Resort in Nha Trang, Vietnam on July 13, 2008.

Parvathy Omanakuttan was named Miss India 2008 runner-up while second runner-up Harshita Saxena was titled Miss India Earth 2008. However, due to earlier contracts with another pageant (GLADRAGS) Harshita Saxena resigned, thus resulting in the new Miss India Earth Tanvi Vyas.
