Kenny Hasbrouck (born August 14, 1986) is an American college basketball player at Siena. The six-foot-three Hasbrouck has played point guard, shooting guard, and small forward for the Saints. He was named a co-captain at the start of his Junior season. He is from Capitol Heights, Maryland and played at Maine Central Prep before committing to Siena in May 2005. Hasbrouck was the first recruit of the Fran McCaffery era. Hasbrouck has started all 128 games in his career at Siena.
Hasbrouck won the rookie of the year as the Saints finished 15-13 and 4th overall in the MAAC. Hasbrouck scored 25 points nailing five of six three pointers as Siena clinched a bye for the MAAC tournament with a 98-92 double overtime victory against Niagara. Hasbrouck averaged 12.4 points per game, while grabbing 4.3 rebounds a contest and dishing out 2.6 assists on the season.
Despite playing through back injuries throughout the year, Hasbrouck once again had a solid season. In a dramatic 76-75 double overtime win against cross-town rival UAlbany, Hasbrouck rose to the occasion scoring a game high 22 points. He scored his current career high of 36 points in an 84-78 loss at Rider. Hasbrouck played perhaps his best game of the year as Siena upset Marist 86-78 in the MAAC semifinals. Hasbrouck scored 26 points on 8 of 13 shooting leading Siena to their first MAAC championship game in five seasons. Hasbrouck was selected second team All-MAAC. He averaged 16 points per game and shot .475 from the field as the Saints finished their season at 20-12.
