Jarrett Lee Hoffpauir (born June 18, 1983 in Natchez, Mississippi) is currently a second baseman for the Memphis Redbirds, the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. In November 2007, he was placed on the St. Louis Cardinals 40-man roster.
Hoffpauir was drafted by the Cardinals in the 6th round of the 2004 player draft from the University of Southern Mississippi following his junior year, in which he hit .405 with 92 RBI and scored 62. Hoffpauir currently holds Southern Miss records for most hits in a season (109), and most RBI in a season (92).
He was recalled to join the Cardinals on July 1, 2009, and made his debut in Cincinnati on July 3, going 1-for-1 with a key walk in the 8th inn., and a decisive 2-run single to drive in the winning 5th and 6th runs against the Reds in the team's 7-4 win.
